Our Barn Wedding
Alex was the perfect choice as our celebrant for our wedding. She spent time getting to know us, listened, and shared her own ideas and the result was a personalised ceremony that combined all the elements we wanted.
There was just the right balance, between traditional and modern, meaningful moments and good fun. The ring warming and family candle lighting really stood out for us and many people commented how different and special the wedding was. Just wanted to say thank you for what must have been one of your most intense marriage ceremonies! I am pretty sure it will take some beating! It was absolutely brilliant! Exactly what we asked for, and that was a tall order! It was, by your own admission, "the most bonkers marriage service...ever !" I hope you had a great time too, it's a great festival anyway and this added to it hugely!
I doubt anyone will forget it in a hurry! We certainly won't, and will no doubt be celebrating our anniversary there for some time to come. Thank you again for a truly brilliant ceremony, the best day of our life together so far!

Dear Alex...
You really did make our day wonderful and we so appreciate all the work you out in and at such short notice! Sadly my mum passed away on Easter day so it has been a bit of a hard time recently.
We are so thankful that she managed to see our wedding and I really believe it gave her something to be happy about in the darkest of times, so thank you so much for being part of our day and really making it so magical for us.

Arto's Naming
Alex helped us prepare for my son’s naming day far more than I had imagined possible. She connected with everyone we wanted involved in the service and guided and supported them in finding the rights words. And the end result was wonderful.
It was such a beautiful and relaxed service that everyone present said was enjoyable. I got one comment that it was ‘very Brighton’ - I knew what this friend meant and totally agreed. This was exactly the atmosphere we were aiming for so it was perfect.
Thanks Alex for all your hard work - as I told you in person I would be very happy to recommend you wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a celebrant for their special day.

Alex lead the naming ceremony for our third child, Evangeline.
From the moment we spoke, I knew Alex was the celebrant for us.
Warm, creative and full of empathy she helped us to pull together a beautiful event that had a lot of personal meaning after a tricky period of our lives.
She listened to all our considerations and had a very holistic approach that helped us to plan the day exactly as we wanted it.
Her ideas and suggestions were very spot on for us a family, and it felt like we were creating the day together which made her a hugely integral part of the celebration, more like a friend by the end.
She was unperturbed by some of our quirks, and was hugely reassuring about my obsessive nature! The care and love she puts into her efforts (often going above and beyond what we had expected) was second to none, I truly believe she's in the perfect vocation for her and anyone that is fortunate enough to have her working with them will surely agree! I couldn't recommend her more, and am hugely grateful to her for a great day that we will cherish forever. You're amazing Alex, thank you again from all of us xxxxx.
From a Guide Parent...
Before the baby naming ceremony, I managed to get this wonderful Guide Parent to send in his promises - which I played as a special surprise during the promises being made by all the Guide Parents. We managed to prerecord his message because he was in China and not allowed to use live streaming. He was originally supposed to be at the ceremony but unfortunately was not able to be there so this was a fantastic surprise for the parents,
Celebration for Mum
We were so pleased to have found Alex Harrison to help us put my mum to rest. She was empathetic and so obviously genuine in sharing our grief that it was easy to welcome her into our family for that difficult and emotional period of time.
She went above and beyond the call of duty by travelling out to meet our dad, to get to know him and to talk to him about our mum so she could be ready to support fully on the day. In the lead up to the service there was much to organise and she helped make this happen with patience and understanding.
On the day, the service was beautifully organised, calm, empathetic and absolutely in tune with what the family needed at that delicate time. Thank you Alex for playing such a central role in bringing us comfort and helping us all lay our mum to rest."
