Wedding and Civil Partnership Ceremonies led by a Professional Independent Celebrant are the ideal choice for you to share and celebrate your wedding ceremony in a way that suits you.    

 

Everyone is WELCOME.  

 

As a Professional Independent Celebrant, I am not restricted in any way on the content, length or indeed venue to lead the wedding ceremony of your dreams.  When you book me I become part of your wedding team and will do everything within my power to create the ceremony you want.  After all, without the Ceremony it is just a big party!

 

I can include spiritual, cultural or traditional components in your ceremony.  You may wish to write your own vows & promises, I can help you with these.

You may even choose to represent your love with a symbolic action such as "Tying the Knot" or the lighting of candles.  

 

Did you know that the exchange of rings is not actually part of the legal marriage, so this could be saved for your wedding celebration in front of your friends and family? 

 

 

 

 

 

I can conduct a ceremony anywhere you want.  As long as the legal exchange is done at a register office the wedding ceremony can take place wherever you choose - whenever you choose.  The legal contract can be done before or after your Wedding Ceremony.

Whether you have your ceremony at a country house or it is a more rustic event in a woodland or on a farm, I will help you (and your venue or wedding planner) to create your perfect ceremony. I can even help find a venue.

My fees start at £600

This includes travel within 30 miles. An additional fee of 45p per mile will be charged outside of this.

I am always at the end of the phone to answer any questions you have, but below is a list of what my fee includes.

As part of my services included in all ceremonies:

  • A face-to-face meeting, (or zoom) which normally lasts around two-three hours. It can be at the venue (depending on location).  

  • Regular communication.

  • Help and advise in choosing poems, music, readings and any special ceremonial/spiritual elements.

  • Collaboration with others (friends/family and professionals, including the venue), to ensure your ceremony runs smoothly.  Think of us all as your Wedding Team!

  • Almost unlimited updates to your script - it has to be right.

  • A very warm and professional delivery of your ceremony (I like to arrive early, meet your guest and ensure everything is ready and no last-minute changes required).

  • Order of Service in A5 format (ready for you to print) 

  • A beautiful presentation copy of your script (Upgrade options available)

  • A commemorative certificate. This can be signed by you as part of the ceremony.

  • A Rehearsal if within 30 mins of travel - optional extra (highly recommended) 

 

No two weddings are the same. I will discuss your personal requirements before confirming my fee.

I would recommend a rehearsal at the venue to walk through the ceremony, check timings, music cues etc. This is your moment to be the stars of the show so let's make sure you are ready!  

 

I am normally at the venue an hour before the ceremony to ensure that everything is ready and to adjust for any last-minute changes.
